Artist’s Bio

Jonathan Rischawy obtained a Bachelors of Fine Art at New Jersey City University in Communication Design.  For a number of years he worked in advertising and design firms as an Art Director. In 2001, he started Rischawy Creative Design and began publishing "Day Trips and River Towns", a shopping guide for the Delaware Valley. He is now an art teacher in the Hopatcong school district and truly loves the experience of teaching. 

His works have been selected for exhibition in the 2007 and 2008 International Society of Acrylic Painters show in California, as well as, the prestigious American Art Collector catalogue for 2008.  He has also been the featured artist in Hunterdon Life Magazine.

Jonathan lives outside of Flemington, NJ with his wife Peggy and three children.
